The story behind the guide

My name is Clément. A lifelong car enthusiast, I went to Japan this year, in 2026, with a simple goal: see the temples and explore the country, but also experience JDM culture from the inside rather than through a screen or a sim like Assetto Corsa. Driving cars you never or rarely see in France, pushing open the doors of garages where nobody speaks your language: that's the dream! The passion speaks for itself, and bringing a bit of it all back home with a few souvenirs is amazing too.

From Tokyo to Mount Fuji, from Osaka to Kyoto, I kept track of every great spot, every route worth the detour, every tip and good deal, so that you too can come home with plenty of photos and gifts for yourself and your friends. JDM Trip was born from that idea: bringing it all together in one place, so the next enthusiast planning their trip doesn't have to figure everything out alone.

This site isn't a generic list compiled from the internet. Every place has been seen, tested or at least seriously researched by me, and will be completed, corrected and expanded trip after trip.
